The potential for two rounds of severe weather in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky is expected to occur through the next week. The first potential storm could occur Friday afternoon and evening, with strong winds forecasting the potential impact on the St. Michael's St. Joe's Marathon and the Franklin Main Street Festival. The potential for severe weather is also expected to affect the St Michael's Marathon. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of the state in a level 2 out of 5 risk zone for potential severe weather.
