1 injured, widespread damage reported after tornado slams part of SE Kansas

A tornado-related incident occurred in the small community of Sycamore in northern Montgomery County, Kansas, causing at least one person to be injured and significant damage. The storm also caused significant disruption to the Columbus school district in neighboring Georgia. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office began search-and-evaluation efforts after the incident.
