American intelligence agencies believe that China may have shipped shoulder-fired missiles to Iran during the ongoing conflict. This indicates a shift from covert component sales to outright weapons transfers. Despite this, there is no evidence that these missiles have been fired at American or Israeli forces. China has allowed certain companies to send chemicals, fuel, and military-production components to Tehran throughout the conflict. President Donald Trump responded to the allegations by threatening to impose a 50% tariff on any and all goods sold to the United States of America. The Chinese embassy denies the allegations.
