Adolescence and BBC scoop Royal Television Society Awards

The Royal Television Society Awards (RTS) saw the success of 16-year-old Owen Cooper, who played teenage murder suspect Jamie Miller, and his co-star Stephen Graham, who plays Jamie's father, won best writer for the drama category. The BBC also won 16 awards, including 16th consecutive RTS for Celebrity Traitors and Things You Should Have Done for scripted comedy. Narges Rashidi won leading actor in the female category for her role in Prisoner 951.
