PDX says they haven’t been told anything about ICE agents helping with airport security

President Donald Trump has announced that he will order federal immigration officers to assist in airport security starting Monday, without agreement on a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security. A spokesperson for Portland International Airport, however, said they have not received any direct communication from federal officials regarding this proposal. This announcement comes as a partial shutdown contributes to long lines at some of the nation's largest airports.
