Jacksonville Jaguars GM James Gladstone and coach Liam Coen have been used to waiting until the first pick of the NFL Draft for their team, which is expected to be their first time without a first-round pick in their history. This comes as they prepare for the 56th overall pick from No. 56 in the first round, which they have never had. This is not the first time the Jaguars have not had a first draft pick in history. The University of Florida Gators recently secured a commitment from top-ranked 2027 offensive tackle Maxwell Hiller from Coatesville, Pa., who is ranked fifth overall nationally and the No. 1 offensive tackle per 247Sports. The Jaguars currently have 65 players under contract, leaving them 25 roster spots for their draft class, undrafted free agents and veteran additions.
