Actor and director Tim Busfield is accused of abusing several women in addition to the two children he is charged with inappropriately touching. At least four adults have reportedly spoken to Albuquerque investigators about alleged encounters with Busfield between 1993 and 2000. The women accuse him of groping their breasts and of sexually assaulting them. Busfield, who is scheduled to go trial in New Mexico in May 2027, is also facing four counts of criminal sexual contact with a child related to allegations that he inappropriately touched twin brothers multiple times while working on Fox's "The Cleaning Lady".
