'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' A24 Remake To Be Directed by Curry Barker

Curry Barker, director of Obsession, is set to direct and write a reimagined version of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This is separate from the A24 TV series currently being produced by JT Mollner and producers Glen Powell and Dan Cohen at Barnstorm. Barker's film Obsession was purchased by Focus Features for $15M+. The remake will be produced by Roy Lee and Steven Schneider of Spooky Pictures, Stuart Manashil, Pat Cassidy, Ian Henkel, and Kim Henkel of Exurbia Films.
