A company called Taara, a subsidiary of Google's X, has developed a new technology that allows for wireless internet speeds. The Taara Beam, a 17-pound projector-sized device that can transmit internet through the air at speeds of up to 25 Gbps, is designed to be more efficient than traditional methods of distributing the internet. Unlike traditional methods, this technology can be used to connect users to other locations and can be set up on rooftops, lampposts, or cell towers within hours.
