Michael Jackson's family has lived at Hayvenhurst, the home where he produced some of his most famous music for over 50 years. The estate, which has been closed to the public since 1971, was purchased by Joe and Katherine Jackson after they moved their children from Gary, Ind., to Los Angeles. Michael Jackson lived there for 17 years, releasing chart-topping albums Off the Wall and Thriller and shooting his first cover for Rolling Stone. He also spent two years renovating the estate, adding a Japanese koi pond, a movie theater, a faux candy store, and a six-foot diorama of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The Jackson compound was also used as a set for Michael's 2026 biopic.
