Cadillac Formula 1 team made its US debut at the Miami Grand Prix, where both cars finished for a third consecutive race. The American-owned team was drenched in a bespoke livery and sold its cars at a private dinner in Miami. Despite finishing near the bottom of the F1 running order, the team's performance was praised by team principal Graeme Lowdon. The team's focus is on showing progress from race to race and convincing its new fan base to stick with the team. The car was driven by Dan Towriss, CEO of the team, who likened the venture to being acquired by Spire Motors. Cadillac also celebrated its first victory under majority ownership when Carson Hocevar won the Texas Cup Series.
