Off-Duty Sudbury Firefighter Pulls Residents From Burning NH Home

A Sudbury firefighter, Lt. Matthew MacDonald, who was off duty at the time, helped rescue two residents from a burning house in Atkinson, New Hampshire, while driving home from work. He quickly entered the residence and used a fire extinguisher to reduce the fire's spread. The incident was brought under control by 8:30 p.m.
