The Jacob Burns Film Center is launching a series of Steven Spielberg-directed sci-fi films at the center, starting on May 9 with "A.I. Artificial Intelligence," a story taken over by Spielberg following the death of Stanley Kubrick. The series will conclude with "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," presented in 35mm. The center will also host post-screening discussions led by leading film scholars to give audiences deeper insight into Spielberg's films.
