Anderson tabbed All-Big 12 First Team, Most Improved Player

Texas Tech sophomore guard Christian Anderson has been named to the All-Big 12 First Team and Most Improved Player. The awards were voted on by the league's head coaches. Anderson set a new Texas Tech single-season record with 233 assists, averaging 19.2 points per game and making 103 3-pointers. His 7.8 assists per game leads the Big 12 and is third nationally. He has also been named three-time Big 12 Player of the Week and is on the Wooden Award Ballot. Anderson is the only player in Tech's history to record 200-plus assists and make 100 3s in a season.
