Britney Spears threatens ex-bodyguard with legal action for allegedly hacking personal devices
Published on March 27, 2026.
Britney Spears has threatened her former bodyguard, Thomas Bunbury, with legal action after he allegedly hacked into her personal devices and Apple iCloud accounts without her authorisation or consent. The singer's lawyer issued a cease-and-denial letter to Bunbury in February accusing him of violating numerous state and federal laws. The letter also warned Bunbury to delete any photos or documents he may have copied from them and disclose if he had shared them with anyone else. The alleged incident occurred after Bunbury was fired for allegedly violating his non-disclosure agreement by communicating with the press and Britney's fans. This comes after Britney was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol earlier this month.
