Elevated Charges After Violent Attack On Bus Driver In Westchester: DA

Throwill Anasu, 29, from Manhattan, has been arraigned on elevated felony charges in connection with the violent beating of an MTA bus driver following a car collision. The victim remains hospitalized with a brain bleed and severe pain. Anasu remains out on bond and has been granted a temporary order of protection on behalf of the victim. The case was adjourned to May 14. The allegations against Anasu are described as "horrifying" by the Westchester County District Attorney, Susan Cacace.
