Health officials confirm measles case in Weld County adult

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (DPS) has confirmed a case of measles in an adult living in Weld County. The adult recently traveled to another state where there is an ongoing measles outbreak and was unvaccinated. The case is not believed to be connected to the Broomfield area outbreak. After exposure, symptoms of the disease can take up to 21 days.
