The Artemis 2 mission has resulted in a significant increase in interest in "Kerbal Space Program", a game that allows for highly realistic simulations of manned missions to space, including lunar landings. The game saw its second-highest number of concurrents ever, only surpassed by its full launch in 2015. Numbers began to increase around the time of the Artemis II launch on April 1st, peaking at around 12,434, a significant jump from the game's standard average player count of around 3,000 to 4,000. KSP is known for its accessible and engaging gameplay, which includes advanced concepts that are often discussed by real-world astronauts. The sequel, "Kerkalo", saw a modest increase, but only up to 370 concurrents from a prior high of about 118 players a month earlier.
