Argentina's President, Javier Milei, aims to convince investors that Argentina's economic turnaround can continue despite the threat of war in the Middle East. Speaking at JPMorgan's new headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, as part of "Argentinia Week," a New York roadshow, is aimed at convincing investors that the South American country's stabilization effort remains an attractive investment story. The government argues that aggressive spending cuts, deregulation, and fiscal tightening are beginning to restore macroeconomic stability after years of deficits, currency crises and inflation. However, it must rebuild foreign-exchange reserves, attract longer-term investment and regain reliable access to international capital markets.
