A small passenger plane crashed on Monday, April 27, killing 14 people. The South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA) confirmed that the aircraft was en route to Juba International Airport and lost communication at 09:43 a.m. The SSCAA confirmed that there were no survivors. The plane was operated by CityLink Aviation Ltd and may have been due to adverse weather conditions. South Sudan's transport network is not well developed and its aviation industry has a poor safety record.
