Junior forward Isaac Willis led the Indian Creek boys basketball team to the supersectional for the first time in program history, leading them to a 45-31 loss to Marshall in the Class 1A Joliet Central Supersectional. Willis scored 16 points and nine rebounds, while Parker Murry added eight points and six rebounds for Indian Creek. Despite a low season low in points, Marshall advanced to play Lanark Eastland in the state semifinals. Willis credits his performance to coach Nolan Govig for his physicality and strong play. The 6-foot-3 Willis has been on the varsity all three seasons and is considering majoring in engineering in the future.
