Kansas City, Missouri, police officers found a woman shot in the backyard of a home on East 62nd Street early Sunday morning, less than a mile from Swope Park. The woman had been shot and died at the scene. This is being investigated as a homicide and no one is currently in custody. Police are looking for witnesses, evidence, and any surveillance video.
