Israel is losing its wars but losing its support among the American public, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. Over 60 percent of Americans now view Israel unfavorably, up from 53 percent the previous year. The survey also revealed that 28 percent of respondents had a very unfavorable view of Israel, up 9 points in one year and nearly triple the figure from 2022. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's relationship with President Donald Trump has led to a decrease in public support among Democrats and non-interventionist Republicans. The author suggests that Israel's decision to engage in the Iran war may have served as a warning sign.
