Health officials address rising measles cases, exposure sites in Oregon

The Oregon Health Authority is holding a press conference to discuss the increasing number of measles cases and exposure sites in the state. There have been 20 documented cases in Oregon since the start of the year, with 19 of these cases being unvaccinated or unknown. The conference will also discuss collaborative efforts with local public health departments on investigating cases and tracking cases through wastewater. The virus is highly contagious and can infect up to 90% of unprotected close contacts.
