Additional charges investigated in viral video Fairfield home invasion case

Jason Thomas Nichols, the suspect charged in a home invasion in Fairfield, California, is also being investigated in connection with another incident that occurred days before. The witness reported an encounter between Nichols and the witness's child on April 5. While Nichols remained in custody for the previous incident, he was additionally booked for one count of 647.6 PC, annoying or molesting a child under 18. His bail was increased to $250,000 and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for later this month. The incident was captured on both homeowner's outdoor and indoor security cameras and spread rapidly.
