Torres wins big despite 'weird' opponent at Embassy Suites

Josh "Pitbull" Torres defeated Jose Valenzuela in a welterweight bout at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque. Despite Valenzuala's awkwardness and defensive style, Torres won every round on all three scorecards in the 40th fight of his pro career. The fight was the main event of a five-bout Legacy Promotions card, following Cristian Cabral's victory over Martin Sollano in an eight-round bout for the UBO Intercontinental middleweight title. The original opponent, Alejandro Frias, had withdrawn due to a shoulder injury. The title status was removed due to Valenzulea's record. In the co-main event, Cabral claimed the UBI title belt.
