Bayonne University Hospital unveils first phase of multi-million dollar renovation

Bayonne University Hospital has unveiled the first phase of its multi-million-dollar renovation, which includes a newly redesigned lobby and upgraded patient rooms and nurses' stations. The hospital also plans to expand and enhance the Emergency Department. Additional projects include upgrades to the sleep lab, three new operating rooms, renovations to physical therapy spaces, remodeling of the cardiac catheterization lab, and new physician offices and lounges. The former Bayonne Medical Center was renamed and became part of Hudson Regional Health (HRH), a larger, four-hospital Hudson County health network.
