New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert has shared an update on his health after undergoing successful brain surgery a month after releasing their latest album, Listen Up!. He had surgery in December 2021 to remove a rare adrenal tumor called pheochromocytoma and immediately regained function in his hand. The cancer had returned in August 2022, spreading to his spine and lungs, and he underwent intense radiation treatment. Since then, he has been touring with New Found Glory in between treatments. His recovery has been bumpy but he is feeling much better now, according to the update.
