Jimmy Ball, the new manager of Torquay United, secured his first win as his team defeated Horsham 2-0 at Plainmoor. The victory keeps the Gulls in fifth place in the National League South with five games remaining. Dylan Morgan and Jordan Dyer scored early goals for the team. The win came in Ball's third game in charge, after losing his first match at Dagenham and Redbridge and drawing 2-2 with Dorking.
