The United States Department of Energy has filed a lawsuit against the city and three of Mayor Mike Johnston's appointees, alleging unethical behavior and attempting to oust them. The lawsuit was filed a day after the general manager of the Virginia-based organization, V.A. . The general manager, however, responded to the claims, stating that they were not representative of the organization. The current situation is currently unclear.
