Allergy training to become compulsory across all schools in England, says government

The UK government has announced that it will make mandatory allergy training mandatory for all schools across the country. Early education minister Olivia Bailey stated that it is reasonable for schools to fund this out of their own core budgets. A freedom of information request by the Benedict Blythe Foundation revealed that 70% of schools in England did not have the recommended allergy safeguards in place, and half of all schools did not even have adrenaline pens and spare auto-injectors.
