NASCAR has indefinitely suspended driver Daniel Dye for using "a gay voice" to mock another racer during a livestream. The 22-year-old was opening trading cards when another person on the stream said IndyCar driver David Malukas "plays for the other team," leading to the offensive ridicule. These comments violated NASCAR rules that prohibit members from making statements that criticize, ridicules, or otherwise disparages another person based on their race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, or handicapping condition. This is Dye's second major suspension after allegedly punching a high school classmate in the groin.
