A pedestrian died after touching a damaged overhead wire on NJ Transit train tracks in Newark, New Jersey. The incident occurred around 2:25 a.m. and was discovered by first responders. There is no indication that the man was hit by a train. The damaged wire was repaired later in the morning. This is not the first time such an occurrence has occurred.
