These candidates for governor support single-payer health care in California

The California candidates for governor have publicly supported the creation of single-payer health care in California, a proposal that would create a free, universal health care system in the state. The proposal, also known as CalCare, has been proposed several times in California and promises to provide comprehensive universal health coverage and a health care cost control system for all residents. If implemented, CalCare would provide greater benefits and access to providers than existing health coverage plans. The leading candidates for the California gubernatorial debate have made it public that they support singlepayer.
