Center for Closing the Health Gap to host health expo at Washington Park

The Center for Closing the Health Gap is hosting its annual Health Expo at Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine, aiming to connect families with screenings, demonstrations and resources designed to reduce chronic disease and improve overall wellness. Renee Mahaffey Harris, president and CEO of the event, said the expo is adding new activities this year to draw in more families through fitness-focused events. The event will also include demonstrations on reducing chronic disease, and podcasts for attendees. The expo aims to bring multiple resources to one place to reduce inequalities in health care.
