Bay Area aerospace engineer Nate Eller, who worked on the Artemis II mission to the moon, thanks his middle school science teachers Caroline Zago and Mary Fitch for their support during the mission. Eller was one of Zago's students from Twin Hills Charter Middle School over a decade ago and kept in touch even after he passed through Analy High School and Cal Poly. He now works at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Santa Clara County and is part of the team that developed ways to reduce vibration and alter the exterior airflow around where the booster mounts to the core stage. Ellers credits his teachers for their influence on his education.
