Brandi Carlile has revealed that she no longer drinks before or during her shows, citing the spiral afterwards as the reason for her decision. She recalled a time when she drank and made a joke on stage that the audience didn't quite get. She also mentioned that she was afraid of the 15 seconds between the songs. The singer's latest album, Returning to Myself, was released in October and she had "a lot of big feelings about it" in wake of its release.
