Serving Those Who Serve: Prichard veteran inspires sailors as contract project manager

Terry Williams, a former Navy sailor from Prichard, Alabama, credits his decision to join the military to his older brother, who encouraged him to do better than them. Williams enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in Desert Storm as a high-pressure welder and worked on Navy hovercraft, patenting a welding support brace for those vessels. He retired in 2008 as a 1st class petty officer and now serves as a contract project manager at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia. He also serves as pastor of Light of the World International Ministry and its 60-person congregation in Virginia Beach.
