The service uses biometric facial comparison data to verify passenger identity, using a face scan rather than a physical ID. This move is expected to speed up security lines. To be eligible for the service, passengers must have an active TSA PreCheck membership and an active airline profile with valid passport information. Passengers can opt out at any time.
