Event in Montgomery to focus on farm life

The Conservation Foundation's Dickson-Murst Farm in Montgomery will host a free event on May 3, featuring children's crafts, activities, and native plant gardens. The event will also feature a two-day AARP Smart Driver Course for drivers, teaching evidence-based driving strategies, new traffic laws and rules of the road. The 2026 Spring Shop Crawl in St. Charles will allow shoppers to visit 25 participating businesses offering deals, specials and promotions. The cost to attend is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. State Rep. Dan Ugaste, R-Geneva, and state Sen. Don DeWitte will also host a prescription drug drop-off event at the Town and Country Public Library District in Elburn.
