Suno, a music copyright platform, has been accused of allowing the use of copyrighted material on its platform, allowing users to create AI-generated imitations of popular songs and lyrics. The platform's policy states that it does not permit the unauthorized use of any copyrighted material. However, Suno’s copyright filters are often easy to fool, with simple free software such as Audacity or Audacity often bypassing the filter. These covers can be monetized by exporting them and uploading them to streaming services. Suno Studio, available on its $24-a-month Premier Plan, allows users to edit or cover a track for any modifications. However these covers often fall into uncanny valley, with the original versions often sounding more like an imitation of the original. The company declined to comment on these covers.
