Ten Alaska Winter Olympic athletes were welcomed home in downtown Anchorage for a celebration at Town Square Park. The athletes had competed at the Milan Cortina Games earlier in the winter, with Palmer's Andrew Kurka earning a bronze medal at the Paralympics. The women's team members included Hailey Swirbul, Kendall Kramer, Novie McCabe and Rosie Brennan, who competed in her third Winter Games. Former Alaska Olympian Reese Hanneman interviewed some of the Olympians onstage and said the experience changed her outlook on her career.
