Music is a universal language that can stand long-term, with artists such as Donell Jones, Sunshine Anderson, King George, and Pastor Mike Jr. discussing the legacy and purpose of their music at the 2026 Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) Fest in Miami Gardens, Florida. Jones said that his music has become the soundtrack to people's lives since he first hit the scene in the early '90s and most of his songs were based on personal experiences. Anderson also mentioned her love for her hit "Heard It All Before" and that God has gifted her with the talent and the spirit to lift people up. King George closed his performance with "Keep On Rollin," which has become a life mantra for him and fans.
