Senate Democrats are pushing for more information about President Trump's drug pricing deals, which they believe are a sham. The legislation would require Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to make terms of the confidential deals public. This is part of a push questioning whether these arrangements really benefit consumers. The deals, known as "most favored nations" deals with 16 pharmaceutical companies, are seen as a signature health policy accomplishment the administration is touting ahead of the midterm elections. However, most of the public is skeptical of the administration's ability to lower drug costs.
