Two vessels carrying Russian oil are reportedly heading for Cuba in the coming days, potentially testing President Trump's longstanding oil embargo. The Hong Kong-flagged ship, Sea Horse, is estimated to be carrying approximately 190,000 barrels of gasoil from Russia and another ship, the Russian-flated Anatoly Kolodkin, is expected to reach Cuba in 10 days. This comes as Cuba struggles with a deep economic and energy crisis and a worsening humanitarian crisis. The U.S. has been using economic pressure to push political reform in Cuba, with President Trump warning other countries not to do business with them. Despite threats from the Kremlin, Moscow has expressed readiness to assist Cuban officials.
