Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch signals IPO readiness as AI agents fuel revenue surge

Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch has indicated that the company is preparing for an IPO due to the explosion of AI-generated apps and agents. The company's annual recurring revenue (ARR) has risen from $100 million at the start of 2024 to $340 million by the end of February 2026. Rauach suggested that Vercel is already operating with the discipline of a public entity and that 30% of the apps running on the company’s platform already originated from agents. He also suggested that as more apps are created by AI agents, Vercel will become the primary platform for hosting all agents develop.
