Longtime Utah County nonprofit, Family Haven, offers free parenting classes, therapists, and child care, all at a cost. The executive director of the organization, Janelle Christensen, has been involved since 2010 and started as a volunteer in 2010. She credits the organization's free therapy for helping her with one of her children. The nonprofit's mission is to ensure children are seen as having a voice, value, and relationships with adults who care about them.
