Carrick says Man United 'definitely' can't lose Fernandes

Manchester United's Michael Carrick has stated that Manchester United "definitely" don't want to lose Bruno Fernandes in the summer, despite ongoing uncertainty about his long-term future at Old Trafford. Fernandes, who is currently under contract until at least 2027, has a release clause in his deal worth around £57 million. Carrick stated that United want Fernandes to stay and that it would be difficult for him to address this issue in terms of the club and its future. The comments came after Fernandes made two assists in a 3-1 win over Aston Villa, marking a significant milestone for United's push for a Champions League spot.
