Former Morristown Official, Punk Rock Pioneer, Artist, Dies

Tim Jackson, a former member of the Morristown Council and a renowned artist, has died at the age of 77. He served on the council from 1996 to 2007 and was involved in the punk rock scene in New York in the 1970s. After a stroke left him unable to use his left hand, he began using it to create art, earning him a feature on PBS in 2016. His wife and longtime friend Beth Goldstein-Jackson described him as a "true champion of the little guy".
