At DFW Airport, the central hub of American Airlines, the wait time for seven of the 12 open checkpoints was between 0 to 10 minutes, with five other checkpoints having wait between 11 and 23 minutes. Meanwhile, major airports across the country have seen long security lines due to the shutdown.
